Programs
The Scriptures are the focal point of all of the Kovacic's counseling. Peter said to Jesus, ". . .thou hast the words of . . .life". Truly this is where the answers to wholeness lie. If you are ready to apply yourself to the task at hand, hope will become a reality. HCM offers the following programs.
Online Counseling The same programs available in the office are available online. Online counseling for any situation can be a convenient and confidential way to handle your counseling needs. See the Services page for more details.
Abuse and Trauma There are over 80,000 cases of abuse reported each year in America, and there are many more that go unreported. Abuse covers a wide range of areas - verbal, visual, physical, and neglect just to name a few. Addiction also is a form of self-abuse. There is healing available through one on one counseling and/or family counseling. The first step is stepping out. Healing begins with hope. Please give us a call.
Marriage Counseling Just as in family counseling, marriages have their stress points. Working together can help save a marriage and the lives involved, but sometimes one of the partners is not interested in counseling. There is still hope and healing for one if it is sought. Someone needs to step out. That puts healing in motion.
Family Counseling It is human nature for problems to arise within families. How we handle them is what makes the difference. Programs are available for one on one meetings as well as group and family meetings. The goal is to help put back the pieces that have been broken so that there is healing for all.
Emotional Disorders The Scripture says that "God hath not given us the spirit of fear;. . .but of a sound mind". In a day when medication is overused and even abused, God gives plain teaching in His Word on how to overcome depression, anxiety, fear, and other emotional disorders. Peace awaits the one that steps forward and applies life principles.
Crisis Intervention Sometimes a person can become his/her own worst enemy. It may be necessary for outside intervention to save the individual from himself/herself. When these times come, a team of several people may be necessary to intervene on behalf of the hurting one. Working together we can see hope become reality.
Group Meetings Dr. Deborah is available to speak at women's functions at your church, retreats or any other kind of public meeting. Within a group, a thorough discussion on emotional health and other spiritual needs may strike a chord more often than you think. To get more information on how a group meeting might benefit your group, please see our Contact page.
